When she first told me that she qualified for the Miss World Malaysia finals I went ‘OMGWTFBBQ!!!!!’. Shocked I was. Happy for her I was but reservations about this kind of competition still lingers in my head. I used to think that this type of contest was rigged or had really dumb blonds in it and that it degrades women to mere sex objects. BUT, this time the theme is a little different. Themed ‘Beauty with a Purpose’ this years finalist are (according to my sister) smart, strong and women with a mission to make society a better place.

But just as any other big brother I have to give her my fullest support and thats where I need you guys to help. Its easy. Come one down to Sunway Pyramid concourse area this Friday (2nd October 2009) at 8.00PM 7.00PM to give your support to her. Its at the concourse area so its free too! Senang kan?
