Its hot. I’m sweaty. Can’t get a proper night’s rest thanks to the heat. If those who experience summer says that their summer is hot wait till you come over here I say. Hot is not hot till you’ve live in the freaking equator or the middle east(desert area). Not to mention the lack of rain(main cause) is not helping at all. I blame pollution, green house effect and global warming. Having a table fan blowing at you at max speed does not help in this situation. Trust me.

So in light of this I have come up with a few ways to cool oneself down in a situation like this.

1) Nice cold drink.

Iced…cold…drink. Iced coke. Iced tea. Iced remon tea. Chills you from the inside out. If the air around you is higher in temperature it doesn’t mean that you have to have the same as well. Ice water. It works well too.

Pro: Cool’s you from within, ice ice baby.
Con: Seriously, how much CAN you drink?, massive toilet breaks, large amounts of ice.

2) Air conditioning.

Ah…chill out in your own room with the air conditioning set on full-winter-blast-mode wishing it would achieve 0 degree Celsius.Who cares if you are actually making the condition worst by consuming more energy. Its other people’s problem right?

Pro: Nice cool room for you to do anything you want. Enjoyable atmosphere.
Con: Killing the earth slowly, high electricity bills, confirming humanities path to its own destruction.

3) Swimming pool.

Go for a swim at your own private swimming pool. Grab a shovel and start digging behind your backyard or any open area in your house. Not only will you’ll have a great workout and a nice body at the end of the day. Not to mention you’ll get you own private pool too!

Pro: Good workout, nice body, own pool, heatstroke, swim suits.
Con: Sanity, might rain before you finish, might rain due to broken underground pipes, get killed by mom.

4) Wrap yourself in a wet towel. (Akiko’s idea)

*Seriously you’re expecting a picture here? You want me to get killed is it?*

Yes…wet towel. Wrap. I presumed she meant wrapped as in nekkid wrap with wet towel. *drool* Being wrap while fully dressed is not what i would recommend of course but the idea of semi-dressed with a wet towel does however seem plausible.

Pro: hehehe….wet towel….nekkid…hehehhe……
Con: I don’t see any problems here unless you are a guy then i say bare with it.

5) Go on a holiday.

Seriously, if you have the cash then go for it. Take a time off from work to see the world and experience new and exciting places. It might be colder than here but if its not at least you can’t bitch about it since you’re on vacation. You won’t be at your top form to work anyways and with cheap and affortable air fairs nowadays it seems very plausible.

Pro: New experience, fun, exciting.
Con: Expensive (for me), might not be able to take leave, might have already freaking rained.

So basically, yeah, here are a few suggestions on how to keep yourself cool in thi unberable heat. I would suggest time travel and cryogenics but unfortunately it does not seem feasible…yet.

Maybe I’ll just cosplay a penguin and sit in my fridge/freezer instead.
