Daft Punk Photoshoot
I’ve heard of Daft Punk and I definitely have listened to their works but me being me I just can’t remember the titles. But anyways, over the weekend I had the opportunity to be invited to a Daft Punk cosplay photoshoot over at Cineleisure(apparently now renamed e@Curve) compliments of Aoshi. I’m still new and can be considered a total noob in photography but I really love it. Heck, I even just gotten myself a Sony A300 DSLR. Okay okay, so its more like taken over the same camera I’ve been borrowing from Tsunami all this while but still its finally mine to torture mess around further. So without further ado here ya go.

I like this shot a lot. Just need to put in the Daft Punk logo on the ladder and you’ll have a perfect album insert picture.
Both Aoshi and I accidentally found out about the reflection on the curved mirror and about time too cause after looking back at a few shots taken before that we could clearly see ourselves in it. Lols. But we took the advantage of this and made some reflection shots.

This is another shot that just screams of ‘album insert’ and photoshop. Too bad i’m still a photoshop noob.
As you can see its mostly about messing with the boke(h) effect and the depth of feel. Thanks to DeidaraGS and Sean Eu for their awesome cosplay getup, Silencers for his lens and flash unit(hardly used it since it was so freaking bright) and Aoshi for inviting me for this. I had fun taking pictures and hanging out with these guys. Maybe if I wasn’t so sleepy I would have talked more. Oh well, till next time!!!
I guess a bit of advice would be good =) Focus more on your composition, with better composition your photos would have a greater effect.

wow…thats a terrible cosplay of daft punk whats up with the lenses did you do a bad tint job? and the helmets are far to big for the people that are wearing them the gloves and the suits are the only good things
Thank you for your comments. I’ll let the cosplayers know of your opinions on this. Since I was just one of the photographers I cannot say much for the cosplayers themselves only that they tried their best. On the ‘lenses’ part what lens are you talking about? Camera lens?
